SVG files - links to sites with free files.

Free files suitable for anyone using Inkscape to create files for their cutter.

As there are more and more generous people sharing files and starting blogs I will be constantly adding new sites to this list. I will add new sites at the top of the list to make them easier to find. Don't forget to thank the designer if you do download any free files. Have fun.

Please do not transfer this entire list to other websites as it has taken me over a year to compile this list and it is still a work in progress. More sites below that have svg files. These are not specifically cutting files, so please ungroup and check they are suitable, or modify the files.

More SVG sites offering free files.
Clkr royalty free, public domain clipart in svg format.
Lafkon for great pictograms in svg format. Tutorial on changing the file to suit cutters here.
Uber Piglet
DragonArtz Designs
Open Clipart Library svg format clipart.
snap2objects for clipart in svg format. The silhouettes are suitable for cutting without change.
Nicu's Clipart Collection need a program that will open tgz format files.
BittBox A long list of svg files. Many are not suitable for cutting but have a look around there are some great files that can be used. For example lattice type designs here and here, foilage, stars, and bird silhouettes.
Also for anyone using Inkscape you can take advantage of Illustrator files if they were saved as AI 9 or higher. EMF and WMF are also vector format and can be imported into Inkscape. If using files from sites offering another format always check they are suitable for cutting. If an image was designed as clipart it may look like one piece but may contain many smaller pieces. Weld (Path>Object to Path )sections together and remove any parts that will cut too small.
Please read and follow any copyright regulations stated on each site and have a look around each site as many offer more information than just free files.
